Treatment Approach

Individual Therapy: I use the therapy space to help my clients build lives that feel like their own - lives filled with meaning, richness, and connectedness. To do so, I primarily practice Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, an evidence-based therapy designed to help people connect with their most deeply-held personal values. A core part of this work is helping clients to know their own experience more authentically and intimately so that they can pursue what matters to them in a more whole-hearted way.

Couples Therapy: I use Cognitive Behavioral Couple Therapy to help couples enhance their relationships by building strategies for navigating conflict and gaining skills for listening more deeply.

I work with couples experiencing (a) distress in their relationship, (b) challenges related to one or both partner’s individual mental health struggles (e.g., depression or anxiety), or (c) difficulty navigating significant life transitions and needing help communicating to improve connection and collaboration.

I also specialize in offering evidenced-based, partner-assisted treatment for couples facing individual stressors, such as physical or mental health issues (e.g. depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, social anxiety).
